Week 6: The Project Begins!

***UPDATE***: We will be using the Python forum at http://www.apollyein.com for our project communication (at least until I can set up our own private environment).

Please register an account and then scroll all the way to the bottom of the forum list to see the Python forum. Once you get set up, leave a message in the forum and join the discussion!

The project has begun! The world will tremble before the might of our Chat program. Actually, maybe we should actually have something working before we talk about world domination.

Read more for this week's homework.... Please send me an email (python (a/t) post6201.org) with:

- Your email address
- Your chat/IM info
- Your questions and comments about the project!

Please let me know if you have any issues with our progress so far.

Now I'd also like to have two people to volunteer to capture some of our requirements into two documents (one for the GUI and one for the network backend).

At this point, all we need are text files that describe our plans for Phase I. We'll post them to the site and ask for comments. We'll finish the requirements phase by next week.

I will update this story later this week when we have the Python forum ready to go!!!
