Second Meeting Debrief: BobCo Industries
Team, thanks for a fun meeting. I'm glad that everyone was involved in creating the cash register program. It looked like all of you were on the right track by the end of the meeting. That's great!
This week, I'd like you to read up to the "Dictionaries" section in the Python tutorial. For homework, I'd like each of you to finish your cash register code. You are finished when your program meets the requirements. Once you have something running, feel free to email it to me and I'll send back any comments.
Also, please read up to the "Dictionaries" section of the tutorial. Based on the programming assignment during last week's meeting, I'm sure you see why it's important that you read the material before you arrive :-)
Some of the topics discussed in the tutorial may make the cash register program easier to write. Feel free to use any new techniques.
As usual, email me with any questions and have fun!
This link should take you to a list of everyone's code as well as the requirements: Week 2 Python Files
Finally, if you use an RSS reader, you can subscribe to the Programming in Python feed using: http://www.post6201.org/backend/6201python.rdf If you don't know what that is, don't worry about it!
Feel free to help each other complete the cash register program!
