 Our next tour will take us to the 174th Fighter Wing. The tour will include a presentation from the civil engineers on base, a talk with some pilots, and a tour of the jets and engine shops.
All current explorers and their parents are invited, but we ask that you call the Post Hotline to RSVP: (315) 456 -6201. Space will be limited to 25 explorers. Call the hotline to reserve your space today! If you're driving, please provide the make and model of your car when you leave a message.
Note: Everyone should wear comfortable shoes and rain gear, if needed. We will be walking between the hangars, so dress appropriately.
All adults must have a photo id.

- Where? 6001 E. Molloy Road, Syracuse, NY 13211
The directions to the 174th from Lockheed Martin: Take I-90 West to Exit 35 - E. Syracuse/Carrier Circle. Make the first right onto Thompson Rd. At the second light, turn left onto E. Molloy. The base is approx. 250 ft down the road on the right. There will be security guards posted at the gate. They will direct the parents where to park.

 Our fourth tour will take us to Solvay Paperboard, a paper recycling
facility in Central NY. We will tour their papermill to see how they
recycle paper.
All current explorers and their parents are invited, but we ask that you

Note: All tour participants must wear appropriate footwear for a
factory floor. High heels, sandals, or open-toed shoes will not be
allowed.

Our third tour will take us to Syracuse Research Corporation, another engineering company in Central NY. We will tour their Research & Development facility. Bonus: Light refeshments will be served.

Note: All tour participants must be US citizens. Also, cameras of any type will not be allowed in the facility.

 Every year we celebrate our Fall projects at an Expo event in the Building 6 Conference Center. Every project will have a booth or demo at this event. Come and see what the other projects accomplished in the Fall!

 Due to this week's cancellation, we will schedule optional meeting time from 6pm to 7pm on Tuesday, 12/21/04. It will run into the regular scheduled meeting time from 7pm to 8:30pm.
This will give both teams an additional hour to finish up their projects.
Please NOTE: This is optional. If you cannot make it at 6pm, please meet in Building 6 at the regular time. Thank you!!
